Get Out the Vote

GET OUT THE VOTE

Our fellows have fought and died
to preserve our right to vote.
To voice our choices loud and clear,
to choose which course to promote.

It is our responsibility
as well as our unique right
to come together as a nation
and present the people’s might.

To those sad souls to have never risen
and claimed what they want to do
forfeit the right to complain about things
that affect both me and you.

E Pluribus Unum
means one out of many.
Your chance to be really heard
and it does not cost a penny.

Not only a responsibility
but also a hard-won right,
a chance to make your notions heard
and exercise communal might.
